King of Wands

The Card: A man sits on a throne decorated with lions and Lizards, at his side is also a live lizard. He is dressed in red, green and yellow, holding one staff in his right hand.

Interpretation: Our King is looking out in the distance, as if not really present, more concerned with what is to come, than now. One chapter is about to end, but still this one needs to finish.

Has got everything he needs; the authority, creativity and loyalty of the Lion; along with intuition, introspection, and ability for change from the lizard. The energy needed is also there, a crown with flames, and a red cape of action.

His attention is not on the staff, he holds it very loosely, with his focus on what needs to be done.He is not concerned with the powers he has got, instead he is deeply focused using them for the best possible outcome.

Prediction: A circle has been completed, during which I have acquired skills and tools to help me and others. Now I am in the process of using those, integrating them, finishing a part of my development or a task at hand. Perhaps I will be distracted during the process, because new is coming, so I need to nurture my presence.

Queen of Wands

The Card: A woman is sitting on a throne, holding a sunflower in her left hand, and a wand in the right. The throne is decorated with Yellow lions below, like her robe, and Red lions above. She also wears a light grey cape. In front of her sits a black Cat. Behind is seen the also yellow mountains and a blue sky.

Interpretation: She looks out with relaxed authority, open to what comes. There is a lot of yellow in the card; along with lions signifying the star sign Leo. She carries the natural confidence of the lion, her own worth is not up for debate. But the lion is also loyal and nurturing to its subjects, she will give to those around her, openly she holds the sunflower, offering her energy.

The 3 peaks in the background has been explored, the lesson is learned, the state of being centred is achieved. It seems as if the black cat in front, is her protector, looking out. Representing a channel to the 'other side', to energies not perceived by the 5 senses. Those messages from the Cat will help her navigate towards the most fruitful decision, for herself and others. Perhaps the sensitivity of the cat was learned on the 3 peaks.

Carrying a plain staff and a flower doesn't seem like the most powerful, but it is a power that doesn't show off, the power of humility.

Prediction: I am in a state of personal power and equilibrium. What ever is to come, my resources towards handling it are plenty. I see what there is, with wisdom and experience. In the time to come I am always ready and poised.

Knight of Wands

The Card: A knight in armour observes the staff while sitting on his rearing horse. He is decorated with a yellow cape, decorated with lizards, and red plumage adorns his helmet. The terrain is barren, with 3 mountains in the horizon. He is seen against a blue sky.

Interpretation: As the page he is looking keenly at the staff, but perhaps a bit anxiously, as if it might manifest something dangerous. He has deemed it necessary to suit up in his armour, confirming his belief that struggle may lay ahead.

The lizards on his cape strongly suggests that he listen to his own intuition, or even dreams. And after careful consideration to choose his course of action. The lizard may signify that one or more changes are imminent, and the choice he makes may affect him for some time to come. It is important that he chooses that which honours his life. But he has got energy to support him, the red fire is on his helmet and back, and a strong horse to carry him.

The 3 mountains may tell of 3 areas of change, 3 ways to explore. Perhaps all I needed, perhaps only 1 is needed.

Prediction: In the coming time I will use my gift of intuition/psychic abilities to select my way in a time of change. Perhaps there is fear, and I may be self-protective, but I will use the abundant energy/strength at my hand to help me. Maybe I will have to go places which doesn't seem to hold any gift, but the reward is there if I persevere.

Page of Wands

The Card: A young person is standing on some barren land with 3 mountain tops. Clothes are yellow and Red. The person is wearing a hat with one feather, observing the staff. The sky is blue and the soil is brown.

Interpretation: There is something new happening here. Even though the land is barren, our person is observing the staff with fresh eyes, and having a feather in the hat as a symbol of freedom, movement and lightness. The land may be void of growth, but it doesn't concern our explorer. He is not very experienced, but there may be something to be seen on those 3 mountaintops.

Prediction: I am beginning fresh every moment. In the time to come I may traverse events, places, or meet people who at first sight appears to hold nothing of value. But with my newfound curiosity and openness I don't believe in that. I will just see what there is without judgement. I am exploring, travelling light and new.

Keywords: Being new, inexperience, travelling with minimum luggage, lightness, no judgement, possibility.

10 Wands

The Card: A young man is walking towards the city, holding 10 wands in his arms. Dominant colours are the yellow ground, his hair and pants, and the village houses. The sky is a bright blue, his vest and the wands are brown.

Interpretation: This man has taken too much upon himself, too much work or too many tasks. He is burdened, walking bent, his face hidden by the effort. Perhaps the wands are the past, which he is carrying with him, unable to let it go. The town looks like a nice place, but he doesn't give himself time to enjoy the community which he is a part of.

Prediction: I am likely to work a lot in the time to come, or I may harbour memories, thoughts and feelings. In any case I will feel encumbered by one or the other. It's time to life my head and see what I am in the middle of. I have lost myself, or am in danger of doing so, if continuing like this.
