The Fool

With the number 0 this card signifies a beginning, being new. The young man stands dangerously close to the edge of the cliff, but he is complete at ease. He is seemingly oblivious to dangers and difficulties. You could call him foolhardy, but somehow the word doesn't apply. He is nearly unaffected by the world.

Maybe he doesn't know how long the journey he has undertaken will take, the knapsack on his walking stick is very light. Again it is of no concern, he lives only in the moment, like the innocent white flower he has picked.

The small white dog tries to warn him of the present danger, but he is completely immersed in a the state of lightness. A complete conviction that no harm will come to him.

His lack of involvement in worldly affairs is also signified by being in the mountains where he is unlikely to get involved with the challenges of other people.
