Temperance

We are presented with another refinement, or balance. Only to use what is necessary, nothing more. Gods representative in the form of an angel could make this card look like a commandment but it's more that that. The angel is pouring water from one cup to another, nothing is spilled.

If the water represents emotion or energy then it shows a psyche in balance, no outbursts in either end of the scale. The angels face reflects complete harmony and relaxation; body, soul and spirit, the trinity represented by the triangle, are in balance. Also one foot is in the water and one foot is on the bank, there is contact with both elements without loosing the footing, sensitivity as well as stability.

Again a road is leading into the distance. After this refinement we are ready to proceed to a new phase, into the morning.

Prediction: When you take this card you are careful about the energies around you, but need to use them to reach a new place, you cannot stagnate.
