Ten swords
10 Swords
The Card: A young man lies on the beach, impaled by 10 swords, half covered by his red robe.
Behind him the calm sea is seen, with low blue mountains in the horizon. The sky is turning from dark to yellow.
Interpretation: The man certainly seems to be dead. However most importantly, only dead in the spiritual sense. He has taken the learnings, emotions, and unfinished issues from the past upon himself. It has killed him in a positive way. The man he was with those problems could no longer exist. After the they were gone he had to be new, the old him had to die.
Now the morning has come, the battle of night, where his mind was clouded by problems and fears, is over. Now the calm state of mind is reflected by the calm sea. His emotions, illustrated be the red cape, will fall away as he rises again.
Prediction: A part of me have died, no longer the same, I am new. The part of me which has died may be large or smaller but it has irreversibly died. From this point onwards I will act differently. Where there were struggle before there are now room for beauty, tranquillity and love.
Keywords: Being new, rebirth, calm, morning after night, beauty.
