King of Swords
King of Swords
The Card: He sits on his throne, holding the Sword at an angle, dressed in sky-blue and red, with the golden crown on his head. As the Queen he sits on a hill top, alone. The clouds in the sky and the back of his throne are both grey/light grey. Angel and Butterfly are present on Crown and Throne. He carries a ring on his left middle finger.
Interpretation: All the challenges of the swords has been learned. His look is no longer one of anger, emotionality, or hardness. He has been humbled like a true king, knowing what is going on in the world. It seems he is weary of all the agitation and wants to begin something new. The sword is held at an angle, no longer exited about the power it gives, but simply because he has to, he is detached from it.
More than the Knight and the Queen he may be ready to accept the gifts of Angel and Butterfly. The ring on his finger indicates that he carries the signing authority, in full power, no doubt about his rank.
Prediction: I have been through quite an ordeal of emotion and strife, ups and downs. I have had enough of that for now, nearing a point where something new has to enter my life or situation. A new empowerment, a transformation, more joy and lightness is wanted. My present situation will change.
Keywords: Humility through experience, power, weariness, calm, ready for the new.
