Strength

The peak of consciousness, seen in the background, is waiting to be climbed, but first the ego has to be softened. The lion in astrology has the gift of creation and leadership, but also compassion for the ones loyal to it. But how does it fare when it comes to surrender; willingly abandoning the position as king of the savannah ?

Ascending the mountain of consciousness includes passing through a keyhole, where notions such as, I am the glorious one, cannot be held. That's why a woman who is infinite in her love and wisdom, has come to the lion. She will teach the lion that true strength doesn't lie in any position or belief. It lies in the complete absence of those, in constant acceptance of the everlasting now. The lion feels her authority, and let her control it's strong jaws.

This card represents a unification of the male and female creativity. They are each strong on their own, but only reaches their full potential united.
