King of Pentacles

The Card: A king sits on a throne with a pentacle on his left thigh and a sceptre in his right hand. He is wearing his golden crown with red flowers and a black cape with grapes and leaven on it. Underneath he has plated armour. The throne is also black adorned with demonic looking heads.

He is sitting in a town/city, vines and green also around him. In the background blue mountains and a yellow sky.

Interpretation: The scene looks very lavish, but also dark. Both cape and throne is black and with evil looking ram/demon heads. As is if the king has already been through the darkness and has mastered it. Now he is sitting in a kind of detached state, contemplating: 'Am I ready to leave this scene, can I finally take off this armour, discard these symbols of power and rise from this throne again a simple and innocent being. He has got everything he needs, completely at peace. Still the responsibility weighs on his shoulders, he is used to the weight but, perhaps it's time to roam freely once again.

Prediction: Long you have journeyed been through it all, experiences, hardships and insights. Now its time to rise as a free being. In detachment from self, void of needs you will have to proceed because the journey never ends, because it never began, you are eternal. Just do what you have to do, the experience gained is more than enough.

Queen of Pentacles

The Card: A queen sits on a throne with her crown, holding one pentacle. She wears white, red and green. The throne is placed on a hill in nature. A wine with roses grows above her. Beside her lies a rabbit, and in the distance, below and behind her, there is a river and mountains. The sky is yellow.

Interpretation: The whole scene is very 'rich', aesthetic and fulfilling. The elegantly dressed queen holds the pentacle with great care, almost like a child or a great gift, as in 'how do I honour this wonderful present'. A gift of abundance perhaps, corresponding to the absolutely beautiful natural surroundings. Her green cape almost flows into the grass, becoming one with it. The rabbit is completely at ease at her side because she is connected loving and caring. Even the vine wants to surround her, because she is inviting it.

She sits in an elevated position, with a view to the beautiful valley below, signifying that she has brought herself to a good level in her personal development.

Prediction: Through my long journey I have come to a beautiful position. In the time to come I will face the very positive task of how to use the gifts existence has given to me in response to my fulfilled intentions. I now have the opportunity to lead, love and return the wonderful feedback nature or my surroundings are giving me. I will be in the new garden of Eden, in an empowered state.

Knight of Pentacles

The Card: A knight in full armour and red is sitting on his black horse, also in red. He is holding one pentacle. Both are carrying some leaves on their head. Behind them are cultivated fields, and in the far distance mountains. The sky is yellow.

Interpretation: The knight looks like he has been through the war. Now him and his horse are adorned with the laurels of victory. In his hand he holds the orb of power, presenting it but, to whom ? The battle worn duo, gives no pretence of appearances. They just are what they are.

He has been through the struggle and it has left him empowered. He uses/shows what he has learned but he doesn't make a show of it, thus his new gained power is for his soul. How ever he is still cut off from the life energies, the armour is heavy.

Prediction: You will enter the days ahead perhaps weary of turmoil and struggle, but there no longer will there be turmoil and struggle inside you. You will be in the very fruitful state of disillusion. You will know what you know and can not be fooled. You can proceed with confidence, but the defences has to fall for full connection to happen.

Page of Pentacles

The Card: A young man is standing on a green field with flowers, holding one pentacle. His clothes is green like the field and brown. In the background is seen trees and low mountains. His head garment is red and the sky behind him is yellow.

Interpretation: Our man looks to be of some social standing or an actor, also shown by the light way he carries himself. He is not really dressed like a traveller and standing in friendly terrain. His town just might be close to what looks like farmland, on the lower right of the card.

It seems he is in a state of questioning, almost asking the pentacle like a crystal ball: 'What does the future hold for me ?' Right now he is out of himself, reaching out to his 'pentacle' where he could choose to reach inside himself. He needs some guidance, and has chosen to rely on the answers from outer sources.

Prediction: Perhaps the time is good to trust some message which comes to me. To genuinely listen to life; anything significant which happens around me may hold a message. If I listen the answer is always there. I may even seek answers in places which inspires me, and I don't have to go to the end of the world to get them.

10 Pentacles

The Card: An old man, a young man, a woman with a child, and dogs are present near the archway to a city.

Interpretation: There is a strong sense of completion in this picture; all the age-groups are here. The child, the young and the old. Even the pure instinctual nature is represented by the dogs. The journey from childhood to old age has been completed.

The cycle of childbearing is complete, the young man has come back from his journey, his staff is leaning against the portal. The old man is sitting with his refined wisdom at the market place, he doesn't make a show of himself. An aura of peace and love surrounds him and the dogs can feel it, thus they come to him.

Prediction: It's time to come home, you are reaching a place of fulfilment after a long long journey. Which ever the nature of the journey has been, you know what I am speaking about. You will come back to the childish innocence but with experience and equilibrium.
