7 Wands

The card: A young man dressed in simple clothes, Green, Yellow & Red. The sky is blue. He is holding a staff in front of himself. In front of him, 6 other staffs are seen.

Interpretation: The young man looks like he is expecting a fight. He holds his staff up defensively in front of himself, looking anxiously towards something we can not see.

Has he done something which has caused the anger of others, or is he the victim of injustice ? Could be that the perceived threat does not really exist. It could be a figment of his imagination.He is only aware of the battles in his life.

Prediction: At this time, in this situation, the positive sides and solutions eludes me, as I am engrossed in the belief of conflict.Identify what you see as threats, it will turn out to hold more than that, a gift or new perspective. Sometimes I may need to put hard against hard, at other times, a more 'elegant' solution is required.

6 Wands

The Card: A group of people are riding horses, holding staffs which are seen on the background of a blue sky. Then man in front is wearing a laurel wreath on his head, and one on his staff.

Interpretation: It is time for celebration, a victory has been won. They seem to be headed somewhere to receive their homage for a deed well done. No much fuss is being created about the event though, a balanced tribute is in it's place.

Prediction: I have done well, what ever I set out to do has been completed. Now I am heading home, perhaps not entirely sure of how I will be received. I know I have done well though, so I am not worried, carrying myself with confidence.

Keywords: Completion, victory, homecoming, celebration, confidence.

5 Wands

The Card: 5 people are seen on the background of a blue sky, the ground is void of vegetation. Each person is holding a wand. Some of their clothes are the colour of the soil, other clothes hold all the base colours Yellow, Red, Blue and Green.

Interpretation: These people are engaged in a fight, but not a really violent fight. It is a sparring fight, probing each other. They are using each other to learn and experience interaction of wills and energy, getting ready to interact with people with whom they have not met before. The young man on the left seems to be holding his staff high in joy and excitement, as if encouraging the other four.

Prediction: It is time for me to test my energies in a known environment. So that when I meet the 'real thing' I will be ready, having some experience. A young person, persons, or parts of me which are yet unused are coming out into the light to be used. New facets of my personality are ready to see the limelight.

Keywords: Friendly interaction, sparring, young energies, inexperience, excitement, join the fun, learn and play in safe environment.

4 Wands

The Card: A golden sky is seen behind the city. Four big wands in the foreground are draped with garlands, made of green leaves and red Roses. People are seen in front of the city walls, and two women are holding bouquets of green.

Interpretation: We are being welcomed to a city of prosperity and celebration. The two women seem to be waving at us, inviting us to participate in the festivities.

Prediction: Life is to be enjoyed. When the chance is there, which means now, take it and celebrate life. This is a good time for me to be a part of a group; sing, dance and laugh. Or whatever makes me happy, what the situation is inviting me to do, in terms of pure love of life.

Keywords: Togetherness, enjoyment, celebration, prosperity, lightness.

3 Wands

The Card: Our red-robed Hero is standing on a cliff, overlooking the sea, holding 1 out of three wands. His garments are plain. Three ships are heading out to sea, which is coloured golden by the reflection of the sky.

Interpretation: It looks like he is ready for a journey and longing to somewhere, but which journey ?. Also one of his arms seems to be armour clad. Does he still have an element of strife in him ?, ready to go out and find a 'war' ?. No !, the wands are now planted firmly in the cliff, and he is standing quite calmly, viewing the ships departure, indicating that the time for 'outer' journeys has passed for the moment. He is ready to participate in life, seeking inner fulfilment.

And funnily by stopping he has reached the beginning of the greatest expanse, the inner universe, which is as the sea in front of him, only it's immaterial.

Prediction: I have reached a point where it's no longer my greatest desire to roam the world, or participate in all the 'agitation' out there. From this point I will stay 'home by the fire' so to speak. I have a certain experience of the 'affairs' of the world, which is enough. Perhaps I will still long to go somewhere, but I am changing. I observe, having separated from the strongest of impulses. My attention now goes inwards, there I will find the new.

Key elements: Experience, settling, awareness in the midst of anything, separation from impulse, calmer and stronger than before.
